Mezzo is a water-dispersible granule herbicide containing ๐ฎ๐ฌ% ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐น๐ณ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป-๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐๐น, a sulfonylurea compound that inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS) in target weeds. This systemic herbicide provides exceptional flexibility, with efficacy maintained even at ๐ฌยฐ๐ and no volatility concerns under field conditions.
The formulation delivers rapid absorption (rainfast within 1 hour) and excellent crop selectivity in wheat and other cereals. Its low application rate (typically 5โ10 g/ha) minimises environmental impact while controlling both annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds. Compatibility with tank mixes allows integration into broader weed management programmes.
